CommonTies is a new programme for young citizens of the Commonwealth aged 18- 29, who are temporarily based in UK for study or work, and who would like to learn more about the Commonwealth family.

The °®Âþµº's works to engage and support youth leaders from across the Commonwealth. CommonTies is aimed at young citizens of the Commonwealth aged 18- 29, who are temporarily based in UK for study or work.
At this launch event, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the work of the °®Âþµº, and to connect with other °®Âþµº with similar interests and professional aspirations.
They will also meet and hear from:
- Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC, the new Commonwealth Secretary-General
- Dr Sue Onslow, Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies
Attendees will participate in discussion groups with °®Âþµº staff working in Rule of Law, Oceans and Natural Resources, Gender, Human Rights, Education and Youth Development.
