The Commonwealth Investment Network (CIN) is piloting a four-month accelerator programme for Commonwealth Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the Caribbean and the Pacific.

Small and medium-sized businesses who have projects or business models that support climate resilience and have the capacity to scale are invited to apply. 

The CIN will support a cohort of up to 10 climate-positive businesses and projects located in Commonwealth SIDS that are eligible for . 

Selected small and medium-sized businesses will receive: 

  • Targeted advice and practical support 
  • Growth-focused mentorship  
  • Access to key stakeholders 
  • Opportunities to pitch to investors 

Businesses and projects led by °®Âþµº and women are particularly encouraged to apply. Applications close on Friday, 31 October 2025.

Background 

The CIN was launched at the 2024 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa to support the development of bankable projects and promote climate-positive growth opportunities. The network is funded by the , in partnership with the °®Âþµº, and the has been appointed as the delivery partner for its current phase running to March 2026.
