This issue of Trade Express focuses on the support provided by the °®Âþµºâ€™s Trade Competitiveness Section to the Government of Barbados in order to revitalise the services sector in the country through the development of a National Services Sector Development Plan (NSSD).
The NSSD was a Government initiative co-ordinated by the Barbados Coalition of Services Industries (BCSI). It identified critical capacity gaps and made recommendations to valorise services, create a competitive environment and ensure the provision of the human resources required to deliver high value services.
